Data support engineer (BI) for BI Support team. This team is responsible for supporting 400+ SSIS jobs scheduled in Mr.Cooper without missing committed SLA.
Shift : 16X7, night shift - on 1st of every month- in round robin method).
Nature of Work : 60% of L1&L2 work. (Support)
40% of L3 and L4 work (Bug fixing & Enhancements)

Skills required
• Must have good hands on experience on SQL/ T-SQL, stored procedures , performance tuning & ETL concepts.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Expert in troubleshooting and debugging in T-SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) ETL tool.
• Must have Hands on experience in scheduling and monitoring SSIS, SSRS SQL jobs in different environments (Dev,QA,Prod)
• Should have development experience in SSIS ETL Tools & SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Should be good in basic concepts of Data warehousing.
• Hands on experience in power BI reporting tool is an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities
Understanding the business process and SLAs
Support and automation using Microsoft SSIS
Performing data analysis for mismatches and fixing.
Monitoring , identifying, alerting, communicating, troubleshooting and fixing issues with jobs scheduled in SSIS.
Supporting Power BI reports
Documentation of end to end process
Performing SSIS job development to schedule Stored procedures, add email notifications, debug issues within jobs, enhance jobs to set requirements.
Resolving medium complex business requirements – perform follow up with business on open queries
