BI Technical Lead | About You 

As a BI Technical Lead, you are responsible for acting as a vital link between developers and clients within the Business Intelligence (BI) domain. Your role entails ensuring effective communication, fostering understanding, and driving the vision and goals of BI projects. Proactively building relationships, comprehending new business processes, and identifying opportunities for process improvement are key aspects of your responsibilities. 

BI Technical Lead | Day-to-Day 

  • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to elevate the BI technology landscape, demonstrating proficiency in Tableau and a comprehensive understanding of the BI life cycle. 
  • Collaborate with product owners, program managers, and onshore & offshore teams to align BI initiatives with business objectives. 
  • Analyze existing BI operations, schedule training sessions, and conduct meetings to discuss optimization and rationalization strategies for the global BI environment. 
  • Define project requirements, develop work schedules, and ensure the BI team meets timely deadlines. 
  • Generate progress reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders, emphasizing Tableau rationalization and global BI environment optimization. 

BI Technical Lead | Skills & Experience 

  • 10+ years of hands-on technical expertise, specifically in Business Intelligence, with a focus on Tableau, data analytics, and machine learning. 
  • Proficient in SQL, CI/CD pipeline, GitHub, AWS or Azure, and Python or Power BI. 
  • Solid experience with Tableau, Lambda, Redshift, CloudFormation, and the entire BI life cycle. 
  • Background in managing multiple BI projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery. 
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, Jira, and Confluence. 
  • Experience working in healthcare or another highly regulated industry is highly desirable.
