Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Power Apps/Power BI Developer to join Blend’s Global Business Excellence team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Power Platform development and management, with a focus on creating and maintaining Business Performance Management dashboards and reports. This role offers the unique opportunity to be part of a new team dedicated to owning Blend’s internal management dashboards and reports, serving senior leadership users across India, Americas, and EMEA regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports. 
• Work on the development and implementation of customize applications and workflow automations using Microsoft Power Platform, Power App, Power Automate, Power BI, SQL Server.
• Work closely with BI manager and business users to understand requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Build and optimize data models to support reporting needs.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and integration tasks as needed.
• Support the testing and validation of Power BI solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and data sources.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
• Document technical specifications and user guides for developed solutions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of in-depth experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles.
• Experience with developing Power Apps and workflow automations using MS Power Platform, such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SQL Server database.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and visualization design.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL query writing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of business intelligence.
• Certifications in Power BI or related technologies are a plus
• Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
