nCino is currently seeking a Bid Manager to join our Sales organisation to help us continue to grow across EMEA. The ideal candidate is passionate about banking and technology, organised, with a high attention to detail, and exceptional writing skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for project managing the overall bid process including developing and writing responses for Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) from our sales prospects. This role sits within the Presales team and will have direct interaction with multiple departments within the company.
Responsibilities
- Lead the requests process and data gathering for bank prospects and clients on RFP, RFI, Due Diligence, and other similar requests from start to finish and meet time-critical deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates
- Establish and ensure adherence to all bid policies, procedures, and timelines to develop a submission that is technically sound, responsive, compliant, and of the highest quality
- Write, develop, update, and provide ongoing maintenance to nCino’s RFP database on a regular basis
- Develop the bid schedule with input from bid team members and continue to track progress throughout the bid cycle; assist in the resolution of obstacles
- Create high quality RFP, RFI, Due Diligence and similar responses for nCino by following bid-writing standards with consistency
- Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Sales, Product and Operations departments to proactively research, collect and summarise information from numerous sources to complete the bid
- Fully comprehend strategic direction and communicate into concise, focused messaging within respective proposals and presentations
- Develop visual and verbal concepts appropriate for varied audiences using available internal resources
- Identify and implement process improvements globally
Requirements
- Degree in relevant field
- 2+ years of experience in bid generation
- Reputation as a critical and strategic thought-partner, with a demonstrated ability to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities from disparate sets of information and provide clear conclusions and guidance
- Proven experience with structured writing projects and bids
- Exceptional writing skills with excellent attention to detail for proofreading, editing and formatting
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office tools
Desired
- Experience within a financial or software company
- Project management skills
- APMP Foundation
- Experience in legal and/or contract development
- International experience

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The recruiter for this job posting can share more compensation details during the recruitment process, as base salary is only one component of the total compensation package per position posted.
The base salary range for this job is:
£40,700.00 - £64,100.00
