Big data Cloudera Lead

Position Role/Tile: Big data Cloudera Lead
Location: Canada(Mississauga /Ontario) & USA(Irving/Texas)

Must Have Experience

• Experience of 15+ years in managing and delivering Data platforms particularly Big Data platforms
• Experience with the Cloudera Manager tools to identify the Cluster performance issues and bottlenecks and administration of Hadoop cluster
• Must have good understanding in tuning Spark/Impala/Hive/Elastic/Hbase/Kafka
• Experience in Performance Engineering and Benchmarking Large Scale systems and applications
• Experience in the internals of JVMs, performance profiling and optimization
• Experience in analyzing Thread dumps, Memory dumps for bottlenecks
• Experience working with real time systems with high volumes
• Strong leadership and management experience of leading large teams.
• Strong communication skills in handling varied business stakeholders and ensuring project transparency
• Solid English written and verbal communication ability, including the ability to put together clear, concise, accurate reports and Email communication

Added Advantage:

• Experience in driving end-to-end programs from Source to consumption, distributed, scalable, and reliable data pipelines that ingest and process data at scale and in batch and real-time.
• Familiarity with Git, agile and CI/CD

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
