JOB TITLE: Call Center Representative REPORTS TO: Call Center Supervisor FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt _________________________________________________________________________________ Purpose and Scope The Call Center Representative will work in a call center environment, scheduling and confirming patient appointments for the dental clinics, handling general customer inquiries.It is a very busy call center and the person that would be successful in this role is someone who likes routine and being on the phone. Job Responsibilities of a Call Center Rep • Handle outbound and inbound calls from external and internal customers. • Schedule and confirm patient appointments for clinic locations. Conduct follow-up phone calls from recall list of missed appointments. • Handle incoming requests from external customers by e-mail or fax and managing their inquiries or requests. • Obtain all relevant information needed to handle complaints and inquiries. Transfer customer calls with complex inquiries to appropriate staff. • Complete call reports and logs. • Obtain accurate information from patients and ensure that all demographic information is complete. • Enter patient information in the Dentrix system accurately. • Resolve customer support related issues and providing customer with proper solution, via the troubleshooting techniques. • Perform patient verifications, processing orders, applications, forms, and requests. • Perform other related duties as directed or assigned Required Experiences and Skills of a Call Center Rep • High School Diploma or GED Certificate required. • Prior dental office experience, preferred. • Fluent in Spanish, required. • Prior call center or telemarketing experience preferred. • Must be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. • Good organizational ability and time management skills. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Must understand and respect client confidentiality.
