Job Description:
At Sun Life, the client is at the centre of everything we do. As a Wealth Associate, your work will directly contribute to our mission of helping clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives. In this role, you will play an integral role supporting group plan member’s with service needs as well as encouraging them to consult with a licensed consultant who can detail wealth and insurance solutions relevant to their personal situation.
You are a strong communicator, who posses superior customer service skills and consistently demonstrates professionalism. You are able to demonstrate the flexibility to adapt within an ambiguous environment with shifting priorities. A Wealth Associate uses active listening to understand our client’s unique situations and highlight the importance of receiving professional advice. As a member of the Client Solutions Centre (CSC) you will benefit from our culture of coaching and support in order to empower you to make a difference in our clients’ lives.
What will you do:

Proactively make calls to Group Retirement Services members and assist them with enrolment or questions related to the set up of their group savings & benefit plans. For members requiring financial advice you will help connect them with a licensed financial services consultant

You will engage and build relationships with clients by helping them understand their employer benefits pertaining to savings products, investments and insurance.

You will help with the administrative aspect of tracking sales and ensuring accurate attribution of sales is completed

Wealth Associates will also follow up with other financial institutions to help facilitate the successful consolidation of external assets being transferred to Sun Life

Foster and participate in a work environment that values people, invites creativity, and celebrates learning

Contribute to the CSC's ongoing success by sharing feedback and providing insights that will help to improve our client experienceÂ
What do you need to succeed:
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build credibility and rapport
-
Preferred experience within an outbound or blended call centre
-
Knowledge / experience within the financial services industry
-
Knowledge of wealth savings and retirement products
-
Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required to answer calls from English and French speaking clients across Canada and worldwide

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.Â
