Bill Pay Specialist

Overall Responsibility

Work as a part of a team responsible for paying all invoices received against the contracts for service in place via WINstream, our web-based software platform. Provide payment information to vendors and update system accordingly.

• This position is considered hybrid and working from the office 4 days a week (Mon-Thur)

Requirements

• Provide payment details to vendors via telephone, email, or on-line account portal, while ensuring that payment is properly applied by vendor
• Process check ACH and Credit Card payments and remittance advices utilizing WINstream and Quickbooks software.
• Complete daily assignment of payments to team members
• Utilize system to match posted credit card transactions to authorized bill payments and credits and clear these transactions
• Work with Fiscal Support team to resolve any service interruption or suspension issues by issuing payment to vendor
• Management of Bill Pay inbox
• Ad hoc reconciliations and reporting

Qualifications

• Organized and detail oriented
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, particularly in the areas of phone and email communications
• Ability to professionally resolve issues with Vendors
• Proficient in using the Internet, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
• Proficient in the use of a scanner, fax machine and printer
• High School diploma or equivalent experience required
• Accounting degree or 1-2 years' experience required

Salary range: $42,000-$46,000
