We have an immediate opening for a full time Billing Analyst for our New York Office. This role needs someone who can step right in and help us streamline our processes. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive and accountable. We have offices across the U.S., so you are comfortable getting to know people, building relationships and being a resource to others!

Responsibilities Include:

• Creating and sending invoices for fees and expenses
• Keeping track of specific and complex client billing requirements
• Monitoring accounts receivable and transactions
• Reporting and resolving payment or billing issues
• Assisting in the creation and maintenance of projects in our billing system
• Cooperating with other teams to ensure billing accuracy
• Assisting in the creation of budget trackers for client pass-through costs
• Responding to client inquiries
• Assisting in customer account reconciliations
• Creating analytical reports and presenting them to Finance Manager and VP of Finance
• Analyzing unbilled balances
• Helping internal teams understand and follow processes

You Should Apply If:

• You have 3+ years' experience working as a Billing Analyst or similar accounting position
• You are familiar with electronic billing procedures, and you have a mastery of spreadsheets
• You are incredibly organized, detail oriented and able to excel at managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• You can excel in a busy, fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines
• You have great written and verbal communication skills
• You enjoy overdelivering rather than meeting expectations and take genuine pride in being part of something good
• You have strong analytical skills and are able to communicate technical financial information to non-financial team members
