Billing Analyst

Bevi is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Billing Analyst to manage the day-to-day activities of the accounts receivable function. This is a great entry level opportunity for an individual with an accounting, finance, or business degree. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills. The Billing Analyst will be an integral and critical member of our Finance team, and will collaborate cross-functionally with members of Sales, Customer Support, and Operations.

What you will do

• Ensure customers and distributors are billed on time and with full accuracy
• Manage the daily inflow of Billing department support tickets
• Respond to customer billing inquiries via Zendesk (our Customer Support platform), email, and phone
• Diligently follow up and collect on outstanding invoices
• Apply customer payments to invoices
• Complete weekly/monthly/ad hoc reporting
• Assist with month end close tasks, such as account reconciliations and AR aging analysis
• Operate as an individual contributor within the Finance team, and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and teams within Bevi
• Assist with year-end Financial Audit

Requirements

Requirements (must haves)

• 1 - 2 years of experience, or applicable coursework/internships/co-ops
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Solution-oriented attitude
• Ability to work in a fast paced, scaling SAAS/software/hardware environment
• Ability to think critically when problems occur
• Proactive when addressing customer inquiries
• Extreme integrity around timelines and deliverables
• Takes pride in their work - produces accurate and well formatted deliverables
• Intermediate excel skills - Experience with Vlookup, Sumif, Sumifs, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, etc.

Requirements (nice to have)

• Previous experience in the Accounts Receivable function or a billing-related role
• Experience in Netsuite and Salesforce
• Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Familiarity with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
