About this Opportunity:Â
As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up contracts and properly invoicing clients of Orion. This position will work closely with operations on escalated client cases regarding invoices as well as internal requests from various departments. The Billing Specialist will work on projects that include both improvements of legacy processes and procedures as well as customization of the billing processes to accommodate the needs of new business partners through mergers and acquisitions. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.
For External Candidates:
Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE; Sacramento, CA; Hebron, KY

In this role, you’ll get to:

Act as a subject matter expert for external billing at OrionÂ
-
Respond timely to internal questions regarding invoicesÂ
-
Evaluate business processes, anticipates requirements, and helps implement solutions
-
Document, maintain, and implement operating policies and best practicesÂ
-
Act as the lead in internal efficiency projects and process innovation for the Billing teamÂ
-
Provide second tier support and perform cross-checks and approvalsÂ
-
Resolve and answer complex billing related issues and questionsÂ

Prepare documents for annual auditÂ
-
Assist in training and education of new Billing team membersÂ
We’re looking for talent who:
-
Has a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor's degree in business or related field

Has a minimum of 1 year of experience within the financial services industry working in Accounting or Billing
-
Obtains Orion Industry CertificationÂ
-
Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organizationÂ

Salary Range:
$19.78 - $28.30
The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
