The Role

As a Billing Specialist at Bloomerang, you are a part of a team that oversees the billing process for our customers. Your responsibilities will include setting up new accounts, resolving billing issues raised by customers, working with stakeholders to request pertinent information, and participating in various projects to improve the quality of the billing process.

What You Will Do

• Gain a deep understanding of the sales process from contract inception to billing & collection.

• Work cross-functionally with a team to complete various tasks including invoicing, collections, phone support and e-mail customer service.

• Oversees daily operations such as upgrades, cancellations, payments and refunds on the billing platform. 

• Research and resolve payment variances by partnering with the customer and account managers.

• Look for process improvement and opportunities to automate tasks to streamline 

What You Need to Succeed

• 1‐3 years’ experience working in billing or accounts receivables

• Analytical, detail‐oriented, and strong organizational skills a must

• Ability to pivot and multi-task when needed

• Excellent communication skills. Must be able to provide and receive feedback

• Positive attitude and desire to work in a space that impacts Non-profit organizations

Nice to Haves But Not Required

• Experience with: Ordway, Zuora and Salesforce

Compensation

The salary range for this position is: $38,500 - $52,000. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws..

Location

This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
