Billing Specialist

Our client, a growing government contractor located in the Falls Church, VA area, is seeking a billing specialist for a contract to hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' accounts receivable experience with at least 2 years' of that working in government contracting, including working experience in Deltek Costpoint (including T&E).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project set-up and invoicing for assigned projects (ensuring that all invoices are compliant with FAR, DFAR, CAS and DCAA regulations)
• Monitor all costs
• Enter daily cash receipts
• Work closely with project managers on funding
• Reconcile monthly billings and unbilled expenses
• Review all aging and follow up on collection status
• Process contract mods
• Responsible for all contract and subcontract closeouts
