About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Billing Specialist (m/f/d) who supports our SAP Fioneer organization in successfully delivering transformation projects in the banking and insurance industry. 

• Regular monthly closing activities (invoicing, deferred bookings, review of revenue bookings, Intercompany Invoicing, Revenue Recognition)
• Dunning & Payment management (monitoring and reminders of outstanding invoices together with Finance Service Center)
• Monthly creation and monitoring of billing due list for not invoiced hours 
• Create a monthly schedule for time recording, invoicing, and month-end-closing-activities
• Support of external audition team for Year-End-Closing
• Support of internal projects/activities as experienced subject matter expert in the invoicing process area (design, setup, testing of new or adjusted process steps)
• Support in the setup and administration of customer and internal projects including the commercial framework like milestones, billing plan, pricing, etc.
• Operational support of system setup for license & software or maintenance agreements
• Support for management reporting, including reporting based on aging & dunning level
• Working hand in hand with internal project managers and performing alignment with stakeholders 
• Knowledge Management (KM) capabilities, such as setting up KM processes to capture and document

• Completed studies in business administration, commercial/bookkeeper apprenticeship or equivalent commercial and accounting background
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting, Operations, and/or Project Controlling functions
• Affinity for numbers & experience in Excel
• Exemplary time management and prioritization skills with an attention to detail and follow-through to match
• Experience in SAP S4/Hana is a plus
• Precise, reliable, and independent working methods
• Strong team player, paired with a positive, result-oriented, and steady attitude
• Exposure to cross-cultural projects and working environments is an advantage
• Excellent English language skills; German language knowledge is an advantage
