BIM and Revit Expert.

PURPOSE: 

This role requires a steady onsite presence; candidates need to be able to be onsite within 1 hour. The project planning phase will be tied to the desk; during construction, this person will be going to job sites and comparing the project plan to the execution. This person will interact often with stakeholders for project requirements and design documents. Validates what the general contractor is actually construction in the field. This person will be working on a program of projects: series of projects that facilitates getting a product line into production. For example, getting the battery plant up and running for EVs, upgrading the existing facility for EV equipment. This is a very vital role to company and helps enable the future of the whole company. This person won't be doing the drawings themselves but will need to manage the overall documents. This person will also need to be able to detect if a problem arises. Manage the projects from construction to operations. 
Must have skills: Revit experience, excellent communication (understanding technical requirements and translating those to stakeholders) and experience with BIM (Autodesk suite, Bentley, etc). Lean scheduling experience is a must. Need to integrate lean scheduling and put it into BIM model to give it a digital twin. Currently doing lean scheduling in seperate program but want to use it within BIM software with 8D. They need to have the methodology clear in their mind. 
Nice to have: German language skills, experience with process flow & optimization, excellent Powerpoint skills. 
This is an onsite position. 80/20 onsite/remote schedule. Remote is offered on an as-needed basis. 
Schedule is generally Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.

  Schedule is generally Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. The main location is the SOC, but this person will visit other plant locations often. For example, if they are dedicated to the battery plant project, they would be located at the Woodruff location primarily. If a local candidate, then an onsite interview is required for the first interview; if an out-of-state candidate, Teams interviews followed by an onsite interview are required. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS Degree in a technical field, preferably in an IT/Engineering Discipline (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Structural), or the equivalent of 4 years of professional experience in an engineering or construction role.
• Five (5) years of IT/Engineering experience in an industrial/construction environment.
• Five (5) years of experience with BIM Building Information Modeling software (Examples: Autodesk, Revit, MicroStation, etc.)
• Two (2) years of experience with LEAN methodology.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to read/understand engineering drawings in multiple disciplines (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.

FLSA STATUS/WORKING SCHEDULE:

• Location: Spartanburg, SC; 80% Onsite; 20% Remote
• Schedule: 8:00 – 5:00pm.
• Assignment Start: ASAP
