Job Description:

Description: The Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator will help establish BIM execution plans, maintain and support BIM model for completed, ongoing and future projects. The BIM Coordinator will play a key role in establishing a campus-wide model and assist project teams to collaborate in software platform.
Typical Duties:

1. Partners with both internal and external project managers and engineers to generate drawings and details for building modeling.
2. Visits JPS job sites to record field measurements and existing conditions.
3. Performs drafting assignments requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations associated with architecture and building engineering drawings.
4. Provides input and participates in BIM coordination meetings to ensure planning and design requirements are met.
5. Creates/renders virtual mockups, presentations and visual aids for leadership presentations (i.e., executive leadership and Board of Managers).
6. Maintains and updates construction documents and close out records.
7. Performs routine maintenance and model Quality Assurance/Quality Control checks on projects.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in AutoDesk' BIM 360
• Minimum 1 year experience in planning/design/construction industry

Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
• Current driver's license in the State of Texas.

Preferred Education and Experience:
• Associate Degree in Applied Science, Architectural or Engineering Technology
• 4+ years of experience in AutoDesk' BIM 360

Preferred Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
• Experience in BIM 360 platform
