Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission

As a Senior BIM & Digital Engineer, you will contribute to the BIM modelling and coordination aspects of the project under the guidance of the Task Team Manager/BIM Manager. Your key responsibilities will include:

⚡️ Ensuring the Business Unit BIM Standards are applied to the Project and following the Delivery Team BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
⚡️ Providing BIM authoring support using appropriate technology as prescribed in the Delivery Team BEP
⚡️ Linking BIM models from other task teams and accessing the latest models from the Common Data Environment (CDE)
⚡️ Producing high-quality parametric-based families and objects for the native authoring platforms
⚡️ Supporting model and content management activities to support digital re-use objectives
⚡️ Applying BIM Authoring standards as outlined in the Business Unit Project Information Standards
⚡️ Following BIM Production Methods and Procedures (PM&P) workflows
⚡️ Ensuring model ‘level of information need’ aligns with the project responsibility matrix and project stage
⚡️ Fulfilling employer’s information exchange requirements using COBie – Code of practice
⚡️ Using the COBie Toolkit for delivering COBie data-rich models
⚡️ Applying Uniclass Classification to the drawing output sheets and model parameters/attributes
⚡️ Using H&S beacons in BIM and ensuring alignment with the H&S section in the project BEP
⚡️ Producing high-quality BIM models and associated output drawings applicable to the works package
⚡️ Supporting the coordination of the design solution and resolving clash issues timely
⚡️ Reporting on any model issues impacting design maturity, model build, or design coordination
⚡️ Supporting 4D and 5D aspects by federating 4D Models and working with project programmers for schedule linking

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

🛠 Design and construction experience in civil, structural, architectural, and MEP or similar disciplines
🛠 HNC, Diploma, Degree in one of the above multi-discipline roles
🛠 Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards
🛠 Minimum of 5 years of design and construction experience
🛠 Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the process of BIM throughout the design and construction lifecycle

Desired Skills

✔️ Experience with Revit, Naviswork, AutoCAD, Inventor, Civils 3D
✔️ Awareness or experience with Solibri, Synchro, Dynamo, and NBS (specification)
✔️ Ability to create content in key authoring platforms for project purposes
