AECOM is seeking a BIM Manager to be based in San Diego, CA.

Job Responsibilities

Major projects at a West Coast airport are being performed utilizing Digital Design and Construction Processes. This position provides owner quality oversight of the designers and builders digital models. The position reports to a Program Manager.

The scope of work includes:

• Review and validate the quality of the design models and construction BIM / VDC implementation for compliance with client BIM requirements.
• Create reports on compliance on official project deliverables.
• Present models to program stakeholders and interface between stakeholders and design build (DB) team members.
• Participate in support meetings: Provide guidance on delivery requirements during design and construction meetings.
• Provide update to client BIM requirements throughout the DB process to assure compliance with current Airport requirements and technology enhancements
• Review the design and construction models for model health checks as part of the ongoing design process.
• Assure model health checks comply with specified BIM requirements.
• Compare model metadata content vs. linked content vs. details from sheet sets.
• Provide detailed reports of corrective actions necessary for compliance and deliverable to DB team for use in construction.

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS plus eight (8) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Arch or Engineering or equivalent experience/education.
• Knowledge and experience with Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Dynamo, Power BI, and various graphic presentation platforms.
• Minimum of 5 years of similar work experience.
• Experience with projects more than $100 million is preferred.
• Previous Owner BIM Quality Manager experience on similar or related large-scale projects in aviation.
• Previous experience with BIM quality management on design-build and design-bid-build projects.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
• Knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on projects.

• This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
• The selected candidate will be subjected to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Registration Screening (MVR).
