Position Description and Responsibilities

We are looking for a full-time BIM Manager to support our national design Studio. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing BIM policies, procedures, standards and ensure processes are properly implemented and maintained throughout the course of a project. You will also providing BIM training and supporting project teams to create strong design projects grounded in best practices utilizing our BIM tools to their fullest potential. You will deliver studio wide, project and individual training to address identified skill gaps. Travel between our 5 office locations will be required for hands-on training and a full understanding of specific needs within our different locations.

You will lead large cross-functional teams through the development of office standards and advanced workflows and will remain engaged during all aspects of project development. You will be responsible for developing and curating content and providing documentation and training to new hires during on boarding and current employees. A true collaborator and team player is vital in this role.

We are Seeking Candidates with:

  • 5+years of professional experience within the Architecture, Engineering industry
  • Expert knowledge of Autodesk Revit
  • Extensive knowledge of BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Extensive knowledge of BIM practices/standards/techniques
  • Excellent organization and people skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to set priorities, problem solve, and multi-task in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Proven ability to implement new software and train staff on efficiency
  • Lead BIM kick-off meetings for new projects and assist project teams in model setup while providing continuing support
  • Conduct presentations/trainings, include lunch & learns, and issuing workflow guidelines
  • Assist with technology planning around BIM and other modeling software and implementation
  • Collaborate with I.T. team to accomplish goals such as deploying software, provide training, and staff support related to BIM software

This is a full-time position that includes generous benefits such as vacation time, sick time, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as participation in a 401(k) and employee stock ownership plan. Multistudio supports a hybrid work environment, encouraging at least three days in the office for regional hires. The compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $125,300 for employees working full-time in our California office.
