BIM Specialist
Performs basic architectural support functions requiring technical knowledge utilizing electronic applications, processes, standards and document control processes for the purpose of creating or modifying deliverables. Evaluates methods used to accomplish the drafting and design activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Role will be responsible for drafting and design of various architectural projects spanning industrial, mission critical, and healthcare markets.
- Develop or modify deliverables based on rough sketches, marked-up copies and/or detailed verbal instructions.
- Develop deliverables with necessary views, sections and details using company and/or Client standards and procedures with supervision.
- Learn and understand project and company standards and procedures.
- Performs minor computations such as material quantity estimate, dimensional checks, or other assigned duties.
- May learn new programs or processes required for assignments.
- Continuously evaluates methods used to accomplish the activities they have been assigned.
- Ensures that the deliverables are compliant with company and/or client Standards, sketches, marked copies and written or verbal instructions.
- Effectively communicating and corresponding with team members.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
- Experience in Revit, Autocad, and Civil 3D programs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience working as a BIM Specialist
- Preference given to local candidates
