• The Bioconjugation Research Scientist will conduct the preparation, purification, and characterization of bioconjugates of various proteins and peptides with different organic molecules. The candidate will develop and transfer manufacturing protocols to contract manufacturers. The position requires expert knowledge of advanced aspects of synthetic and bioconjugation chemistry, analytical chemistry, separation and purification methods, process development, and scale-up. Proficiency in advanced bioconjugation chemistry and the ability to document and communicate the research results is essential. In addition, the candidate should be proficient using analytical equipment (LC-MS, UV-VIS spectroscopy), including the acquisition and interpretation of data. Familiarity with genetic sequencing and proteomics is desirable but not mandatory

Qualifications: 

• Ph.D. in organic/bioorganic chemistry is required, and Postdoctoral experience in Organic/Bioconjugation chemistry is desirable.
• Experience in Oligonucleotide labeling/purification and characterization
• Experience in protein/peptide labeling and post-labeling characterization
• Record of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Record of completing projects through collaborations

The estimated base salary range for this role based in the United States of America is: $105,000 - $160,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, level of the position,  an individual’s skills, knowledge and abilities, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all full-time employees are eligible for our discretionary bonus program and equity as part of the compensation package.
