Repairs, modifies, and inspects patient care equipment used in most areas of the hospital. Other duties include technical assistance in the clinical setting; education of users of equipment; hazard alert and recall resolution, special projects relating to major installations of equipment, pre-purchase evaluations, oversight of vendor services, and assistance with budget preparations.

Education

Associate’s degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Biomedical Electronics

or

1 year experience as an Electronics Technician

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification

Requires a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, ability to be insured by CHHS carrier and personal liability insurance per policy.
