Job Description
The Biotech District Manager will lead a team of field-based Biotech and office-based Inside Sales Account Managers to grow our Bioproduction business within the Central region. You will mentor your team to identify high growth and high potential opportunities within their specific accounts, whilst handling current base business!
Seeking an experienced or aspiring people manager to empower a sales team and achieve year on year growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Biotech and Inside Sales Account Managers to grow business in the Bioproduction sector.
- Building positive relationships with colleagues outside your reporting line is essential for regional success in our matrixed organization.
- Together with your team, build and implement a plan for market development in the area
- Drive team to go for all existing and new sales opportunities within the territory to meet or exceed targets
- Lead and guide the process of discovering new opportunities and growing our market share
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting, as well as competitive information, to senior sales leadership on a regular basis
- Coordinate issues as needed with key clients between sales, support, customer services, marketing, and finance to maintain customer relationships and allow for increased growth
- Attract, develop, and retain the best talent in your sales organization and in matrixed teams
- Mentor team members through Sales processes at different levels of the customer organization and with varying complexity of sales

Qualifications:
- Degree in a Life Science field or equivalent experience
- Previous sales team management experience would be helpful
- Extensive sales and business development experience gained within the Biotech and/or Biopharma sector
- Commercial awareness and ability to work in line with the goals of a commercial organization, proven track record of measuring performance towards these goals
- Extensive travel within the region
- Proficient in English and German
- Driving license
