Job Title:
Blackstone Technology & Innovations (BXTi) - Associate - Liquids Technology
Job Responsibilities:
- Analysis, design, implementation, testing, debugging and deployment of scalable data-driven analytics tools for the Blackstone Liquids Direct Lending/Business Development Corporation and Hedge Fund Solutions platform.
- Build the platform with data science, statistics, and computer programming.
- Work hand in hand with the Direct Lending/BDC and Hedge Fund Solutions investment teams focusing on optimizing portfolio yield and risk while also monitoring all nuances of 40 Act BDC regulations.
- Leverage facility and trading strategy analysis, along with the ability to model and generating hypothetical projected returns and Daily NAV/Stock Price.
- Use Data Science background to help find investment covariance and alpha in the credit markets.
- Work with diverse datasets and transform unstructured and dirty data into an organized format suitable for data science.
- Proficient with Python and SQL to build a clean and scalable code base that powers the analytical models and generates novel insight from the data.
- Build interactive data visualization tools using SSRS, Python Panel and Tableau.
- Implement and extend core system architecture and data warehouses using Snowflake and AWS to build a solid foundation for the data analytics.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations.
- 2 years of experience in credit investing; in data analytics/ data science role.
- 2 years of experience in programming languages including SQL and Python.
- 2 years of experience with SSRS, Python Panel, Tableau Data Visualization tools.
- 2 years of experience with designing and implementing scalable portfolio analytics platforms.
- 2 years of experience with big data analytical techniques and cloud technologies including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and snowflake.
- 2 years of experience with Geneva Portfolio Accounting Software.
- Experience can be concurrent.

Expected annual base salary range:
$90,000 - $160,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
