Body Shop Technician – Metal Finish

Your Role:

As the Body Shop Technician, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to work on metal finishing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform metal finishing tasks such as dent pulling, aluminum welding, grinding, and sanding on luxury vehicles.
• Repair and replace damaged body panels and components.
• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and determine the best course of action for repair.
• Work with other technicians and professionals to ensure timely completion of all projects.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors to explain repairs needed and provide estimates for repair costs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in metal finishing and body repair on luxury vehicles.
• Proficient in dent pulling, aluminum welding, grinding and sanding.
• Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform quality work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Physical Attributes:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment.

Hourly Salary Range:

($24.50/hr - $29/hr DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
