Job Summary: Responsible for tracking historical monthly cash values and death benefits for BOLI clients, as required for accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.

  • Recognizes trends and performing analysis while developing an in-depth understanding of BOLI products, including crediting rate reset timing and methodology.
  • Develops a process and methodology for regular yield analysis and identification of changes relevant to the clients' portfolios.
  • Works as a team player in a team environment building partnerships across departments at Newport.
  • Performs various financial functions and cell manipulation in Microsoft Excel including Internal Rate of Return (IRR), VLookup etc.
  • Works under pressure and adapts easily to changing priorities within a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Solves complex problems and improve processes.
  • Works independently under tight deadlines.
  • Effectively collaborates with others, seeks/conveys information, initiates action, adapts to change and openly shares knowledge with colleagues

Required Education, Experience and Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field
  • Must have advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
