We currently have a great opportunity for the position of Bookings Coordinator. The position of Bookings Coordinator is responsible for being the face of the Neptune Group, continuing to improve and enhance the customer experience. This position will interact with all functions of the Neptune Group to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of export services.
Job Description
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure to send Booking confirmations to Customers within the agreed time frame
- Preparing documentation including bookings, container releases
- Prepare and submit Cargo receival advise to Shippers
- Create slot cover bookings on connecting vessels for all transhipment cargo
- Prepare and submit booking reports to third party vessel operators
- Attached Shippers SLI to Edocs, update bookings based on this document
- Auto rate bookings prior to handing over to Documentation team, advise Sales of any rate discrepancies
- Cargo Readiness – ensure approvals received ( DG and BBK OOG), mty cntr uplifted, cargo in port for loading
- Arrange late receivals if required
- Sending preliminary PRA load list to vessel planners
- Send final PRA load list to vessel planners
- Once vessel sailed, reconcile load list against PRA and updated in CargoWise and provide finalised load list to EXPORT Documentation team.
- Handle general enquires from customers
- Other tasks as directed
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years shipping / freight experience in similar position
- Team player with positive, customer-centric attitude
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated adaptability to work to changing deadlines
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- CargoWise Super User
- Proficient training experience in CargoWise
- Effective Time management and planning skills
