Job Description

The role of the Bookkeeper is to provide financial support to Angela Adams Consulting under the direction of the Controller. This position requires attention to detail, financial savvy, and high organizational skills to make sure special projects and monthly reoccurring tasks are executed timely and properly while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Ideal candidates will possess a financial background, strong problem-solving ability, a passion for assisting others, exceptional customer service, and an ability to identify how the big picture can affect our growth financially. This position will have some remote work flexibility but will require in-office time weekly.

General duties include but are not limited to:

  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Payable
  • Daily Deposit
  • Client Invoicing
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business administration, accounting, finance or relevant field preferred
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and math skills
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping principles
  • Understand how to balance large bank accounts/general ledger accounts
