Box Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading tasks. Duties • Drive trucks to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner. • Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks. • Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. • Assist in moving products within the warehouse as required, ensuring an organized work environment. Requirements • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Previous experience as a truck driver or delivery driver is preferred. • Ability to operate pallet jack and other warehouse machinery safely. • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving cargo as needed. • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. • Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations related to commercial driving. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
