About Houston
ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team
The Brand and Consumer Experience (BCX) Manager leads our Consumer Experience Design efforts in the automotive motor oil, eCommerce, and automotive enthusiast lifestyle spaces (e.g. motorsports, content, and events). The role has three direct reports as well as indirectly guides over 25 cross-functional and agency resources to support those efforts. The team has strategic importance with our 3-year-plan ambitions to grow our known audience by establishing Direct Consumer (DTC) offers to elevate our brand and engage consumers beyond just infrequent oil changes and promotions to capture their lifetime value. Candidates need to have existing experience and proven strengths that can manage brand, innovation, technology, digital marketing, strategic partner management and eCommerce.
What you will do
- Lead Audience Development and Online-to-Offline (O2O) Pods to modernize our marketing organization, shift to direct consumer engagement, and stitch together the consumer journey across teams.
- Build expertise in brand strategy for the portfolio of Consumer brands including Mobil 1 and leverage our offers and sponsor assets to build our consumer database and audience.
- Responsible for building a Direct Consumer offer for Mobil 1 Community members by leveraging our Brand and OEM Partners to curate exclusive content, access, events, and benefits beyond just our products.
- Guide O2O Pod focused on growing our leadership in eCommerce and online shopping experiences across third party marketplaces (Amazon.com, Walmart, etc.) and build our Mobil 1 owned online store.
- Orchestrate the BCX offer roadmap for digital investment needs and become an expert in "agile" operating models working with Digital Transformation and ExxonMobil IT to bring the offers to life.
- Owns the overall Marketing Technology roadmap and team will secure strategic partnerships to accelerate both our audience development and technology ambitions including with key ecosystem players.
- Manage a multi-million marcom budget to drive results.
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Marketing, Design, and Technology fields.
- Proven results transforming cosumer businesses with technology and data.
- B.S. or M.S. as foundational background.
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Brand and business model strategy strengths.
- Design strategy, experience design, and innovation skills .
- Technology, digital marketing, strategic partner management and eCommerce.
- Business and commercial acumen (for partners and business cases).
- Strong coaching / people development skills /Supervisory skills.
- Effective communications, ability to influence without authority.
- Experience working with agencies in prior roles a must.
- Marcom budget management.
