About the Team
Harry’s is seeking a strategic copywriter and strong collaborator to work on all digital brand creative with a focus on creating digital content for the direct-to-consumer (DTC), retail, and social teams. Our mission is to build personalized experiences that make our customers’ lives easier. We hone-in on customer needs, ideate the best product and design solutions to serve them. We’re a team that partners cross-functionally to deliver customer-centric experiences and are always looking to make their daily routines more enjoyable.Â
About the Role
The copywriter’s job is to create compelling copy, from social posts to product pages to one-off emails. They’ll partner with designers to support the broader marketing team in day-to-day copy requests.Â
The copywriter will be motivated by developing copy that communicates Harry’s key value propositions, drives effective business results (as measured by the DTC and brand creative teams), and exudes Harry’s charisma. They enjoy managing the quality of all copy deliverables to ensure they meet Harry’s high standards, and have an ability to give and take creative feedback and constructive criticism. They are naturally curious and passionate about the brand and storytelling journey and desire to work within a cross-functional team to deliver an amazing product.
What you’ll accomplish:
- Landing Pages: Lead copywriter for landing page development process, includes: concepting and creating content that ties directly to campaigns, so that customers who visit Harrys.com have a seamless experience.
- Email Marketing: Develop copy for lifecycle emails—including transactional emails, win-back campaigns, product replenishment, SMS copy and promotional banners—as well as one-off emails.
- Web Product: Collaborate with the DTC team and Retail team to write all website copy including product description pages (PDPs) and directional copy through the Harry’s brand voice to create an intuitive user experience.Â
- Social Media: Supporting organic social team on crafting post copy across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Facebook.Â
This should describe you:
- 2-3 years experience writing copy in an e-commerce or performance marketing
- Impeccable and multifaceted copywriting, copy editing and proofreading skills
- Deep understanding of advertising with a strategic approach to the creative process
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, internal workflow, deadlines and stakeholder expectations
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills: experience working cross functionally with creative, retail (or merchandizing), and marketing teams to deeply understand briefs
- Comfortable having work evaluated based on performance metrics
- Empathy for the customer and their interaction with the brandÂ
- Organized, dependable and self-motivated with the ability to excel in a hands-on, fast paced environment
- You are a learner, who is always seeking to improve yourself and the world around you
- You thrive on direct, honest, and supportive communication

- Reporting to the Head of Creative Comms with strong mentorship from Brand copywriting team (Senior copywriter and PT copy director)
- The Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Creative Comms teams

That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $71,200-$89,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience. Â
