We're looking for a Design Lead to help oversee the design details and the design thinking in our Brand marketing group. You'll be the design point person for the team, helping set the visual vision for the brand and the design processes to help achieve it.
You will set the rules and guidelines, templatizing common assets, defining frameworks and best practices, then will help guide the team to build on them.
Reporting directly to Head of Brand and Creative, ECD, you will bring design thinking to help solve complex communications challenges-across product, campaigns and digital design. Using design as a tool to compel people into action and change the way they think about Realtor.com.
In summary, you will look at the big picture and dive into details; bring the team along; and get our partners see the design possibility of our brand.
What you'll do:

• Lead a team of designers through influence and inspiration
• Set the frameworks and standards for teams to follow, optimizing for efficiency
• Evangelize design consistency across the organization, working tightly with product design
• Act on opportunities where design can elevate product or marketing
• Continuously evolve our design language, principles and guidelines
• Explore and evangelize new ways of working, new design workflows and tools

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7+ years experience at in-house studio or agency
• Best-in-class design portfolio demonstrating strategic design thinking
• Highest design standards and inspired level of "taste"
• Expert communicator with colleagues and stakeholders, above, and adjacent
• Experience setting frameworks for complex design problems
• Technical champion with an obsessive attention to detail
• Self-starter, with something to prove

• Adobe AfterEffects
• Front-end experience with HTML, CSS, and JS standards
• Illustration skills

The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect in the listed locations. We tailor our offers based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process. All ranges are location based, ranges for positions in other locations may vary based on the local market.
Santa Clara $124,050 to $ 176,750
Pay-for-performance is a key element in our strategy to attract, engage, and motivate talented people to do their best work. Accordingly, offers extended for this role will include an annual bonus target typically expressed as percentage of salary. Similarly to salary, annual incentive bonus targets are set based on a variety of factors including job level, competitive market practice, experience, tenure, and essential skills.
