The Opportunity
King's Hawaiian is looking for a brand designer who is passionate about brand design to join their growing internal creative team. This designer will be responsible for developing effective, on-brand, and on-strategy creative across print, digital, activations, and presentations. If you enjoy a dynamic environment such as one day you are working on web banners and the next day you are designing race car graphics and ideas for custom apparel, then we have the role for you!
What You'll Be Working On

• Concepting and driving creative for brand campaigns and new product launches across the following areas:
  • Print
  • Brand activations
  • Presentations
  • Digital banners and web assets
• Collaborating with marketing teams to ensure that all designs align with the brand standards, while also meeting usability and website standards.
• Leading internal video editing and production.
• Assisting in implementing visuals for internal communications.
• Managing digital and creative assets within King's Hawaiian's DAM.

Your Creative Toolkit Needed For Success

• 5 - 7 years of professional design experience.
• Experience within an advertising or design agency is highly preferred.
• Strong portfolio of brand design work, showing solutions to business problems through effective design.
• Passion for working in a multifaceted environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe CS as well as Microsoft PPT, Word, and Asana.
• Deep understanding of typography, marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertisements, and multimedia design.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to clearly present design ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects.
• Strong work ethic and personal accountability.
• Bachelor's degree in digital design, graphic design, or graphic communication.
• Proven ability in video editing using After Effects.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
• Ability to activate and amplify aloha via King's values of excellence, dignity, saying it like it is in a way it can be heard; and curiosity, collaboration, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence.

Please note that we operate in a hybrid environment, where we are in the office Monday - Wednesday and remote on Thursday and Friday.

The salary range is $105,000 to $115,000 plus bonus and is based on an individual's potential contribution to King's Hawaiian.
