The Role

Bobbie is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic Brand Designer to help support our Creative Studio team within our Marketing organization. At Bobbie, the Brand Designer will help solve creative problems across multiple channels with a strong understanding of brand voice, audience and strategy. This role will help shape Bobbie’s brand experience through research, creative exploration and quick iteration. 

What you will do: 

  • Define and create a visual language as an extension of the brand (illustrations, icons, colors, typography, animations, etc.).
  • Develop visual concepts across multiple channels including digital campaigns, social media, editorial, packaging, print, events and swag.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders, Brand Marketing, and other designers, to establish a clear and concise brand voice, tone and personality.
  • Continually iterate on creative concepts in an effort to make the brand relevant and relatable to our audience(s) and the ever-changing landscapes.
  • Educate others on design thinking, brand experience and design-driven storytelling.
  • Be an advocate for consistent and cohesive design throughout the company.
  • Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across various projects.
  • Properly categorize and save all finalized artwork in Bobbie’s asset management system.

What we would like you to have: 

  • Fluent with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
  • Experience with Figma, illustration, and light animation preferred.
  • Demonstrable design thinking and execution skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and composition.
  • Strong appetite for digesting and exploring design trends.
  • Experience working with a multitude of mediums - digital, print, photography, packaging and animation.
  • Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale.
  • Engage in constructive design critiques.
  • Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well.
  • Team player with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize accordingly and iterate quickly.
  • Strong sense of concept development, strategy and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
