About the role:

  • The Director of Brand Experience Marketing is responsible for the strategy and execution that brings the SmartBear employer and corporate brand to life through the oversight of campaigns, events, advocacy and content.
  • The ideal candidate is a creative brand strategist and progressive thinker who is passionate about building a modern, global brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of the brand experience marketing team with responsibilities that include: brand strategy and positioning, campaign strategy and execution, events and advocacy.
  • Drive company-level positioning and messaging, and ensure all touch points positively reflect and represent the brand.
  • Provide strategic brand direction across the business.
  • Oversee our overall event strategy that includes industry, customer, community and online events.
  • Create experimental programs across global locations that build brand awareness for SmartBear as both a world-class corporate and employer brand.
  • Build and scale an end-to-end program to identify and deliver customer advocacy activities including customer eminence and storytelling, customer advisory boards, surprise and delight and loyalty.
  • Evaluate all efforts with both quantitative and qualitative results to inform future direction and optimization and pivot as needed.
  • Inspire game changing campaign ideas that make the most of budgets while leading a team to execute with excellence.
  • Put customers and our audience at the center of everything we do by developing diverse customers relationships and constantly gaining feedback and insights.
  • Mentor, develop, and coach a talented Brand Experience Marketing team.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A passion for creating a brand that wins the hearts and minds of both employees and customers
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in B2B or B2C
  • Accomplished brand strategist with a track record for creating human centric brand experiences through messaging, campaigns and events.
  • Expertise in collaborating across the organization and skilled at bringing people together and building relationships
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with an uncontrollable desire to roll up your sleeves and be involved in the work
  • Equal parts creative thinker and data driven
