A DAY IN THE LIFE:

This role serves as a project management and account services leader within Marketing and as a primary organizer and facilitator for various marketing projects within Tandem.This role is responsible for the detailed day-to-day scheduling, overseeing, and monitoring of the marketing communications project workflow with touch points across the full marketing organization and across the company, consulting on and managing schedules for project kickoff, creation, cross-department approvals, and production/deployment. The Brand Manager works closely with the Manager, Brand Operations as well as Marketing Communications leadership, to optimize schedules guided by marketing service level objectives. They are responsible for scheduling resources for web design, graphic design, content writing, and video production, and you will work directly with the creative services team to manage requirements, remove roadblocks, and keep schedules on track.

YOU'RE AWESOME AT:

• Owns the communication management between internal and external team members and partners.
• Manage the approval and release of Marketing communications content within and across Tandem Quality systems.
• Schedule the development and review of marketing literature and business communications in accordance with appropriate procedures, maintaining records of all feedback and decisions.
• Manage marketing content translations process with outside vendors.
• Load project tasks and timelines into Workfront, manage Workfront schedules, troubleshoot project workflows, and provide updates to Project Sponsors on existing projects' progress.
• Obtain missing information from necessary parties and manage expectations/logistics around all project timelines/deliverables by keeping all parties updated on progress. Provide feedback and communicate with content owners regarding status of baseline timelines.
• Continuously monitor project status and resource commitments to balance workloads and efficiencies.
• Obtains bids from outside print and materials vendors.
• Manage inventory of on and off-site print materials, alerting stakeholders when items need to be updated, replaced, or marked obsolete.
• Manage completion and archive of projects, including status updates in project management software and the electronic and physical storage of critical job files.

EXTRA AWESOME:

• BS/BA degree in marketing, advertising, or communications preferred.
• Experience with advertising, marketing, traffic control, web, and print production is a must.
• Experience as a Workfront project owner, or comparable project management system, as a tasks workflow manager, is a must.
• 4+ years in a Marketing Project Manager role or similar experience preferred.
• Experience working and communicating in a professional environment.
• Passionate and enthusiastic with effective communication skills, willingness to learn and attention to detail.
• Displays high level of initiative and grit with ability to execute and move things forward.
• Creative problem solver, detail-oriented, open-minded, and exhibits a high level of initiative.
• Adaptive at facilitating and creating a cooperative team environment.
• Excellent project management and customer service skills required.
• Strong decision-making, critical thinking, and prioritization skills required.
• Able to objectively evaluate situations and make recommendations.
• Diplomatic approach with a willingness to find solutions and compromises.
• Adaptable, flexible, reliable, and able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
• General understanding of design software resources and common file types.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Trained in/familiar with Agile methodologies preferred.
