THE ROLE 

We’re looking for a Brand Manager to join our Marketing team at an exciting time for our company. As we continue to implement a new brand strategy across our ecosystem and evolve the way we build awareness in the marketplace, the Brand Manager will be key to ensuring our strategy and ideas are effectively implemented to drive brand growth. From bigger picture strategy to daily hands-on implementation, this individual will be key to bringing our awareness to the next level. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support development and implementation of brand strategy: helping to identify opportunities and moments for us to further bring to life our brand strategy across all touchpoints - with a recently refreshed brand positioning, we are still at the beginning of bringing it to life through campaigns, brand experience, and more.
  • Develop campaign briefs: you’ll own the development of thoughtful marketing and creative briefs that draw on available data and insight in order to define a compelling and differentiated strategy for product launches, brand moments, and more.
  • Develop communications plans and facilitate channel planning: working with channel owners, you’ll be responsible for integrated communications plans for brand initiatives and campaigns, ensuring that each channel is working together to pay off the campaign and brand objectives. 
  • Be the key point of integration: you’ll be the go-to person to ensure a seamless implementation of creative concepts across channels. You’ll represent the marketing/campaign strategy with specific channel owners (eg. email, site), and merchandising/design teams, in order to make sure the original strategy is followed through in execution. 
  • Track marketing and campaign performance: work with our Data team as well as channel owners in order to develop campaign reporting, with clear and concise learnings that we’ll use to optimize future initiatives.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

  • You have 5-7 year experience in a brand management or brand strategy role, apparel/retail DTC experience is a plus 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field 
  • Skilled brand thinker who can see the bigger picture, keeping brand goals and objectives front of mind while also being able to get into the details of day to day execution
  • Expertise in integrated marketing channels, with a passion for keeping up to date with what’s new in social media and tech platforms, with an understanding of how brands can capitalize on new opportunities 
  • Ability to collaborate with a range of partners internally and externally, keeping teams oriented around brand strategy and key objectives 
  • Experience working with creative agencies and other agency partners, representing brand objectives and able to deliver feedback 
  • Experience developing and owning marketing and campaign calendars, translating creative concepts into actionable marketing plans 
  • Experience in campaign reporting, you develop sharp insights that go beyond the obvious and help us to shape future campaigns and brand ideas 
  • Ability to create presentations (in either Powerpoint or Google Slides) that visually communicate ideas
  • You are an entrepreneurial individual who cares about the brand and finds opportunities to be creative and proactive in helping achieve business and brand goals 
  • Highly collaborative and able to quickly establish credibility within the team to impact decisions through both formal and informal influence
