Brand Manager

Job Summary: 

The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and driving product and marketing strategy for a portfolio of house brands. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams on product development, packaging, purchasing, digital marketing and ecommerce. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscapes and consumer trends in VMS, Personal Care, and E-commerce.

Job Expectations:

• Identify growth opportunities to drive new product development
• Drive strategic brand planning and program development 
• Develop and execute marketing vision, strategies and tactics for existing and new products
• Develop segmentation for products and brands
• Create category, consumer, shopper and brand stories
• Lead new product launches and global initiatives
• Work with Business Intelligence on shopper and consumer data
• Report performance of branding campaigns and exposure, assessing ROI and KPIs
• Manage day-to-day relationships with cross-functional partners and the lead production of compelling and effective channel-first content
• Work closely with internal team members to strategically plan promotional priorities and design content presentations
• Manage internal and external partners on Design and Marketing collateral 
• Improve cohesion of brand story across every element of the customer journey
• Develop content for all product labels, website and communication
• Shape and communicate our vision and mission in a way that resonates with our audiences
• Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies and campaigns
• Help establish style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition
• Develop promotional and social media calendar for product marketing
• Develop marketing/ promotional campaigns for House Brands

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:         

• Industry related experience, preferably with natural/organic products
• In-depth knowledge of the Dietary Supplement, Personal Care and Health Industries
• Ecommerce and digital marketing experience: Amazon, Shopify, Klayvio, etc. 
• Proficient with social media communication/interaction methodologies
• Self-starter with experience managing projects from inception to completion
• Strong teamwork ethic, positive proactive flexible attitude ability to take complete ownership of responsibilities

Equipment Knowledge:

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred

Experience Requirements:

Generally, requires a minimum of five (5) plus years of relevant industry experience with brands and categories.

Education Requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
