Workrise is hiring a Brand Manager to play a foundational role in bringing our brand to the next level. Equal parts strategist and program manager, the Brand Manager at Workrise is responsible for creating, directing, and executing results-oriented programs and initiatives that are aligned to brand strategy and goals. Success in this role hinges on the ability to build, align, and lead cross functional coalitions, communicate the why behind strategic brand investment, deliver excellence in execution with strategic partners (PR, agencies, contractors), and be a strong voice in the continued development of our overarching brand strategy.
Successful candidates will have either owned or been involved in building long-term brand strategy from the ground up, have created and delivered programs that deliver results, and are able to shift from strategy to execution with ease.

What you’ll be doing:- Own the budget, execution, delivery, and reporting on critical programs within the brand domain, inclusive of agency partnerships
- Partner with product, sales, and operations to maintain alignment between the brand we are building and the experience we deliver to our customers via our products and services
- Support creative execution and storytelling across campaigns, communications, and thought leadership, ensuring all trains are moving on time, and work is delivered at the highest level
- Drive strategic alignment between Brand and the other functions that sit within Marketing to ensure all of our programs are aligned and additive to each other
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that unlock new possibilities for the business and for the brand
- Own brand measurement and reporting
- Commission research to increase our understanding of the market and evaluate brand performance over time
- Contribute to organic social strategy and execution
- Support and maintain the Brand Center and associated brand guidelines as the single source of truth for all things Brand
- In partnership with the Director of Brand, Creative, and External Communications, contribute to (and steward) the overarching Workrise brand strategy over time
Experience and Education Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience building brands in a strategy and/or program management capacity
- Deep understanding of brand strategy, tactics, and measurement
- Comfortable managing large, complex campaigns and initiatives, inclusive of xFunctional internal stakeholder groups and external agency/contract partners
- Hands-on experience commissioning external research (qualitative, quantitative, ethnographic), running analyses, and formulating data-driven recommendations
- Experience planning and executing bold and effective omni-channel brand campaigns
- Strong writing pedigree - ability to deliver a brief that captures the essence of a strategy, and clearly articulates the actions required to execute
- Bonus points: Ability to contribute on messaging for campaigns and initiatives at a ready-for-prime-time level
- Strong understanding of social media and trends
- Intellectually curious and culturally aware - willing to take the time to understand a space and build knowledge of the cultural movements within it to inform brand strategy and evolution
- Courageous and discerning - believes there are always better ways to get things done; willing to share dissenting opinions; knows when to bet on calculated risks
- Flexible and direct - able to manage shifting priorities across programs with aplomb, and not afraid to manage up to align on priorities when too much is in the hopper
- Bachelor’s degree required
