Brand Manager - Almond Breeze

Job Summary:
Almond Breeze is the pioneer in the plant-based milk category, and the #1 selling almondmilk in the United States. The Brand Manager will assist in the management of the Almond Breeze P&L, contribute to the development of brand strategy, as well as plan and activate marcomm and packaging projects. This role will work with the full array of marcomm tactics, including TV, digital, social, coupons, and PR. The Brand Manager will manage the assigned business and projects under the direction of the Group Marketing Manager.
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manages the Profit and Loss statement for assigned business.
- Analyzes and assess the needs of the business.
- Develops and executes marketing plans for the product line.
- Collaborates with marketing team members on Brand development and execution.
- Leads a cross function team to develop new products and segments.
- Provides marketing direction for external agencies (advertising, PR, social media, packaging, and consumer promotion) in developing and executing marketing plans.
- Provides high level marketing support to the Group Marketing Manager by helping to manage day to day business needs including business analysis and program execution.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
- 3 years of Brand Management experience for a consumer products organization
- Must be able to lead cross functional teams but also work collaboratively with multiple internal and external team members.
- Track record of building and managing brands.
- Superior project management skills.
- Experience working with agencies (advertising, media, packaging, etc.) and driving them to produce outstanding results.
- Skilled in making public presentations and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Results oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong knowledge of IRI/SPINS data, ability to analyze and make recommendations based on the data.
- Possession of high analytical and conceptual skills.
- Familiarity with consumer research methodologies including consumer taste tests, focus groups, ethnographies and equity studies.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES (Specialized education, specific software experience, etc.)
- Master of Business Administration degree.
- Experience managing a P&L and building forecasts.
- Experience managing development of new packaging.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision when needed.
- Experience creating and activating marketing support for new product launches.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Office demands include extensive use of telephone and computer.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Position highly stressful and demanding. Time may be spent working outside of office.
- Travel required 10-15% of the time.
