ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

The Knot Worldwide (TKWW) is a global leader in the wedding and lifestage category, representing 19 brands across 16 countries. We are looking for a Brand Partnerships Manager who will work closely with the Brand Strategy & PR team to lead the development and execution of highly engaging, innovative partner marketing programs that fuel our growth.

 

This person will have a deep understanding of the partnership landscape and will be able to  expertly keep our brand at the center of culture through the implementation and execution of highly relevant partnerships and co-marketing initiatives. This person will be an experienced cross-functional player who can lead, guide and manage conversation aligned to program KPI’s. This person will also be familiar with a variety of marketing channels, tactics and measurement strategies that will help us maximize performance against our OKRs. 

You will report directly to the Director of Brand Strategy and Media in the Consumer Marketing department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow our awareness of couples and soon to be engaged prioritizing loved brands with strategic marketing plans that reach them in the right channels 
  • Help set a brand partnership strategy based on consumer marketing OKRs
  • Conduct in-depth research, and partner with insights team to conduct studies among engaged and pre-engaged audiences, to determine brand preferences, category whitespace/opportunities, topics of interest/trends etc to help inform strategy and targets
  • Conduct brainstorms with internal channel leads to determine co-marketing plan tactics timelines, and measurement approach 
  • Assess value and business impact of opportunities that inform recommendations   
  • Partner closely with Business Development & Merchandising teams to ensure business alignment 
  • Create partner pitch deck with our brand background and partnership opportunity
  • Produce briefs for all internal parties to kick off partner conversations and pitch partnership ideas across marketing department for buy-in and keep relevant parties informed 
  • Expand monetizable opportunities by commercializing consumer marketing initiatives that have partnership opportunities (earned or paid) to internal and external partners 
  • Own and manage partner relationships; run calls, determine next steps and follow up with relevant internal parties for additional information needed
  • Manage partnership negotiation, ensuring partner requirements provide level of promotion/opportunity/reach needed to reach our brand goals 
  • Partner with legal to draft co-promotional agreement including but not exclusive to rev share models and IP ownership
  • Field incoming partnership requests and determine scope of opportunity

SUCCESSFUL BRAND PARTNERSHIP MANAGER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years in brand partnerships or planning role
  • Mastery of program execution + project management with an active interest in developing expertise in brand strategy. 
  • Ability to synthesize information to develop an understanding of key insights 
  • Proven experience executing innovative integrated marketing campaigns which achieve program goals
  • Experience consuming high volumes of marketing analytics and separating signal from noise.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet team output expectations
  • Comfort leading cross-functional teams and meetings. 
  • Outstanding written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
