Job Summary
Our 10-12-week program as an intern at Comcast will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop professional skills, gain insight to the day-to-day operations of a top media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network. You will gain invaluable knowledge of our industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture and receive exposure to other areas of the business, all while working on real life business projects and functions.
We develop, activate, and steward the essential ingredients of the Xfinity brand strategy, including brand purpose, identity, architecture, positioning, messaging, and planning. We shape the strategic narratives and foundation that guide Xfinity communications, experiences and innovations
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Support development of brand messaging guidelines for all new Xfinity products, services, features, and initiatives. Adapting messaging and guidance for multiple different channels with different needs, audiences and real estates.
- Support development, evangelism, and governance of Brand Messaging Framework to ensure consistent, best-in-class messaging across all touchpoints
- Support development of quarterly and ad hoc brand messaging research
- Support naming development for new Xfinity products, services, features, and initiatives, leveraging consumer insights and competitive intelligence.
- Support socialization across key partners, including Business Units, Commercial, Legal, CR&I, and Marketing.
- Regular, Consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Requirement
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree from a college or university
- Preferred Majors: Marketing/ Business
- Excellent writing and syntax skills
- Strong partnership and collaboration skills
- Passion for marketing and communications
- Ability to work 40 hours the entire duration of the program
- Authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship in the future
Pay
The range for this role is $21-$23/hr. and is based on academic level of achievement and business structure.
- Rising Sophomore: $21/hour
- Rising Junior: $22/hour
- Rising Senior: $23/hour
Compensation
Base Pay: $23.00
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
