Responsibilities:
- Work closely with account director to support integrated projects, proactively anticipate and solve problems, identify opportunities for efficiencies and growth, and ensure proper communications and team direction
- Maintains a close daily relationship with the media department to ensure all deliverables are briefed accurately and delivered to spec
- Coordinates with the media and measurement team directly to ensure reporting deliverables are tracked and timed out to inform new projects
- Participates in a diverse and inclusive environment where each team member feels they can bring their best self and be respected and seen
- Partner closely with Project Management to understand the timing, workflow, and project deliverables in order to manage client expectations and to anticipate team needs/client needs
- Partner with project management to effectively manage resources and budgets
- Be the primary point of contact for client counterpart and cross agency team in managing the daily activities for cross-channel initiatives and annual plans
- Exhibit a thorough understanding of the client’s brand, objectives, and operations to successfully accomplish deliverables that meet client expectations across the whole brand spectrum
- Manage relationships with key clients and strategic partners active in the day-to-day execution of integrated projects, and manage up appropriately
- Lead and uphold the conditions for constructive partner meetings, client reviews, and strategic partner engagements that inspire quality outputs and drive brand success
- Apply independent, critical thinking and contribute ideas in cross-functional team settings across creative, strategy, media, PR, and production disciplines
- Contribute to Barkley culture, growth, and success through participation in key agency forums and initiatives, department and agency-wide meetings, new business opportunities, etc.
Qualifications:
- Self-starter with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong collaborator with the ability to lead cross-channel initiatives with a diverse range of partners and stakeholders
- Ability to run projects independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of effectively articulating both strategic recommendations and detailed tactical plans
- Ability to develop trusted relationships and partner with diverse teams and mid-senior client leads
- Demonstrated success in a cross-functional team environment
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and clients at once, while correctly prioritizing
- 4+ years relevant work experience; previous agency experience preferred
- Experience in client services
- Digital experience with production experience is preferred
- Experience working with media and performance teams is a plus
