As a Partner Technical Specialist your purpose is to influence your partnersâ technical strategies working to incorporate and embed IBMâs technology portfolio into Partnerâs reference architectures practices and solutions versus competition.
As a deeply technical seller youâll increase your partnersâ technical capabilities by enabling their sales and technical sellers to experientially demonstrate IBM Technology at scale with your clients.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Brand Technical Specialist youâll work closely with clients to develop relationships understand their needs earn their trust and show them how IBMâs industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.

- Security Strategy Crafting: Crafting client strategies for security infrastructure applications and management.
- Enhanced Security Solutions: Detailing IBM Security solutions to improve existing technology stacks.
- Effective Communication: Simplifying complex technical topics for client understanding.
- Trust-Building for Cloud Deals: Building credibility and trust at all levels to successfully close complex Cloud technology deals.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Technical Education: Completed technical degree such as Security Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and presentation skills that are engaging compelling and influential.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Depth and breadth of knowledge regarding the Security market in order to consult and advise and quickly grow your reputation as your clientsâ credible trusted advisor. (Training on IBMâs Security offerings is provided)
