Job Summary:
The Brand Coordinator serves as a key graphic design role on the Marketing and Communications team. The person in this position will work closely with the Brand Manager and collaborate with Marketing and Communications colleagues to support the bank's growth goals. The Brand Coordinator will help concept, design and produce quality marketing and communications materials (such as brochures, flyers, ads, direct mail pieces, etc.). This position will also support management of vendor relationships (e.g., printing companies, photographers, branded merchandise/fulfillment providers, etc.), support the bank's internal marketing request system, and advance the bank's mission and brand through other marketing and community-related efforts.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with the Brand Manager and with Marketing and Communications colleagues to learn the organization's brand and create consistent and effective deliverables.
• Provide graphic design support for brochures, direct mail pieces, digital ads, etc. to help reach Marketing and Communications and business unit goals.
• Support the creation of various content to use across multiple platforms (website, social media, etc.).
• Help manage the Marketing Request System, which will include prioritizing, assigning and overseeing workflow for all internal requests that come through the system. Help to improve/upgrade Marketing Request System as needed.
• Help manage the bank's visual assets (e.g., photography library, videos, logos, infographics, etc.) for internal and external efforts.
• Support vendor relationships so vendors deliver on expectations and effectively support the brand.
• Support bank-sponsored events throughout the community to ensure proper Bankers Trust presence.
• Help plan and execute corporate and business-line video storyboarding and production.
• Support other Marketing and Communications team initiatives as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
• 2 - 4 years experience supporting branding and design
• College Degree in Graphic Design or related degree with emphasis in design
• Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
• Conceptual design skills and aesthetic judgment
• Collaboration skills
• Relationship management skills (vendors, clients, etc.)
• Creative-minded and ability to translate ideas to creative visual
• Knowledge of web, print and digital design
• Experience with video production and photography (preferred)
• Comfortable with writing for various types of communications
• Ability to prioritize and execute on a high-volume of requests from across the bank
• Ability to work within brand/creative standards for design and content
