Broker Relations, Operations Analyst

The Role

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail oriented professional to join the Broker Relations team as an Operations Analyst. You will be comfortable multi-tasking while balancing multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast-paced working environment. You will be working with an experienced global team to implement best-in-class operational policies and procedures. You will have a keen attention to detail, a data integrity mindset and be someone who thrives off learning new skills and challenging yourself. You will be a natural team player who can use their strong interpersonal skills to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.                                                                                                                                                                                                       

What you’ll do

As an Operations Analyst, you will report directly into the Global Head of Broker Relations and work closely with the broader global team. You will maintain and take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the broker relations team.

Responsibilities will include:

Supporting Head of Global Broker Relations

• Assist with scheduling and calendar maintenance
• Directly interface with senior persons internally and on the sell side to ensure timely communication of scheduling
• Coordinating travel globally
• Booking conference rooms
• Attending meetings with broker relations team to take detailed notes and deliver on follow-ups and next steps

Onboarding

• Ownership of the onboarding process for new research vendors including:
  • Updating the internal CRM system
  • Coordinating timely completion of the due diligence process with our compliance team
• Document key relationship details with new vendors for the team

Research Agreements

• Develop a deep understanding of Schonfeld’s global entities to assist with the agreement finalization process
• Collaborate with internal and external counsel to ensure speedy finalization of agreements and amendments
• Act as the voice of the broker relations team when communicating timelines, requirements and significant clauses

Invoice Management

• Work closely with the broker relations, accounting, RPA and CSA administrator teams to pay research invoices in a timely fashion
• Gain a knowledge of our different payment mechanisms
• Organize and maintain the global CRM to ensure team can find details on payments in a seamless fashion

What you’ll bring

• 1-3 years’ in a similar role or administration function
• Experience with Microsoft office tools
• Experience with a CRM is a plus but not necessary
