BSA Analyst (On-Site)

Citizens First Bank is looking for a full-time BSA Analyst to join our team to administer a process for identifying and monitoring account activity appearing to be unusual and participating in oversight of such activity. This position analyzes accounts having unusual activity using the following sources; Verafin AML monitoring systems, Reports of Suspicious Activity (SAR) and CTR activity.

This hands-on position will research and gather information on business entities and have discussions with appropriate Bank associates to determine if the activity is commensurate with the account-type or a probable basis for such unusual activity can be established. The BSA Analyst will detect suspicious activity and take appropriate actions including recommending a course of action to management based on the analysis of findings. The Analyst will also perform daily, monthly and other as needed reviews of various alerts and reports for suspicious activity. This position requires an understanding of current bank and department policies and procedures and remaining current on all policies and procedures.

Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent plus four years overall banking experience or two-three years of experience directly related to BSA. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Preferred: Associates degree, two plus years BSA related experience. Proficient in Assisted AML software program in Bank (Verafin).
