BSS Architect for Billing and Payments

Domain (Telecom Domain)

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Solution Architect with experience in the Telecom domain and expertise in Billing and Payments Systems. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient and scalable solutions that align with our organization's Billing and Payments processes and support our telecom services. Your knowledge and technical leadership will contribute to the successful delivery of exceptional customer experiences. • Proven experience as a Solution Architect in the telecom domain in Billing and Payments Area • Strong knowledge of telecommunications e2e flows or processes. • Prior experience in working with TV/Cable Domain • Prior experience in Credit checks, Payments and collections and revenue management • Expertise in designing scalable and robust solutions, considering factors such as performance, reliability, and security. • • Prior experience in Any COTS products for billing and payments • Prior experience in Amdocs Service Medication Manager is a plus. • Proficiency in system integration techniques, including API design, messaging protocols, and data transformation. Knowledge of MuleSoft, KAFAKA, SOA • Knowledge of scripting languages and extracting tools is a plus.

• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks, such as TM Forum's ODA, Open API, eTOM and SID models. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex requirements and propose effective solutions. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Experience in vendor management and the ability to evaluate and select suitable solutions from external vendors. • Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development environments is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities: • Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust solution designs. Develop end-to-end architectural designs that align with the organization's billing and payments processes and meet customer needs. • Billing and Payments Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Billing and Payments systems in the telecom domain. Knowledge of Credit Checks, Mediation and US Taxation • System Integration: Define integration strategies and design scalable and efficient solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing systems. • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices. Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders to drive successful solution implementations. • Requirements Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of business and technical requirements, identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies. Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with order management processes. • Solution Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including solution designs, interface specifications, data models, and system integration guidelines. Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders. • Industry Trends Monitoring: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to order management systems and telecom domain. Leverage your knowledge to recommend innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
