To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by performing budget administration functions in the formulation, execution, review, and/or analysis of assigned portions of the budget; tracking budget requirements for all baseline services in support of the organization; advising Budget Officer on the status and availability of funds in different budget accounts and from various sources of funds for various projects; and preparing data summaries for inclusion in routine and special reports on budget execution.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing budget administration functions in the formulation, execution, review, and/or analysis of assigned portions of the budget; tracking budget requirements for all baseline services in support of the organization; advising Budget Officer on the status and availability of funds in different budget accounts and from various sources of funds for various projects; and preparing data summaries for inclusion in routine and special reports on budget execution. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG-09).

OR

Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.

• This position is designated "Mission Essential." In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
• Financial Management Certification: Certification Level 2: "ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT: THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position designated as such in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 United States Code, section 1599d. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program." This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
