Position Details:
- The Bus Rapid Transit Engineer and Task Manager is a key position that will report into the US West Region Transit/Rail Engineering Group
- The position includes responsibility for business development, management of transportation planning studies, preliminary design studies and final design of linear transit infrastructure projects.
- The successful candidate may be asked to serve as an AECOM team and/or discipline lead, deputy project manager and/or technical task leader on selected projects and will coordinate, cooperate, and work collaboratively with others team members.
- BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Professional Engineer's License with eligibility for comity in Ohio
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE), Ohio Preferred
- Experience on engineering design projects for COTA, ODOT, and/or urban municipalities
- Experience designing transit and transportation infrastructure
- Experience with design software including InRoads, Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads
- Experience with business development and client relations
- Able to work out of our Columbus, Ohio office
- Relocation is available for this position
- Sponsorship is available for this position
- Occasional travel required
